Increased Outdoor Living Space
The Problem
Caroline was a client who contacted us with a common problem. She had a big enough block with plenty of space in the backyard, but the original patio was so small only a couple of chairs could sit comfortably.
Her house was built at a time when there wasn’t much emphasis on creating a functional dedicated outdoor living space. Caroline had no room for entertaining or to enjoy a BBQ with family and friends.
Our Solution
Consulting with Caroline, we understood what she wanted to achieve, and together came up with a solution. By clever expansion of the paved area, Urban Growth could then fit a large table and chairs and BBQ, but still leave ample lawn space for the children to play on.
The Result
After completing this large project, Urban Growth was thrilled to receive videos of Caroline’s family enjoying their new outdoor living areas. This was especially satisfying for Urban Growth as this project was completed just before lockdowns. By having an aesthetically pleasing and functional outdoor space, the whole family could happily spend their lockdown time using their lovely yard.
Our Consultative Process
Urban Growth’s usual procedure is as follows. After initial discussions with the client, we email them a sketch of the project to confirm and clarify both general and specific details. It is an easier process to change, delete or add elements to a proposed design at this stage. Urban Growth’s clients now have a clear indication of their project designs and costs.

So happy with the work done in our garden today. Marcos and Pedro were on time, friendly, professional and meticulous. They brought their giant ladder and climbed up into the clouds to reach the top our overgrown viburnum hedge which they trimmed on our side of the fence and our neighbours. Marcos and Finlay came and worked in our garden all day! We needed general tidying up and mulching and also got some advice on what to do with a tricky spot in our garden down the back. They did a beautiful job, left the place tidy and took away all the garden rubbish. Highly recommend!

Amazing job and very efficient. Our hedges have never looked so perfect. Lucus and his team we so willing to do anything we asked. They are perfectionists. Even to the extent that I was worried about my garden bed being squashed due to all the branches being trimmed so they covered the bed for me. Urban Growth have been our apartment blocks gardener's for a couple of years now. They keep our surrounding garden looking beautiful all year round. I recently contacted Lucas, the manager, requesting an overgrown hedge along my courtyard to be given a severe prune. Today when I arrived home Daniel & Richard, two lovely Brazilian Urban Growth gardeners, were hard at it, pruning as requested.I went out to thank them and they asked me if what they had already done was severe enough? When I requested could they cut it back a little more, they immediately obliged. Not only did they leave my courtyard neat and tidy, clear of any cuttings, they also cleared the weeds from the garden bed so the Mondo grass can regrow.Fabulous work lads!Thanks, Lynette

I just want to thank Marcos and Fabio for fixing Garden at 84A Darley Road in Manly 2095.They have always shown commitment to customer satisfaction on many occasions throughout the year and with bigger or smaller jobs.E.g. We are extremely happy with Urban Growth Gardening Services. Particularly Mark and his team who are always willing to do the very best and as much as possible in the time they come to look after my garden. We saw these guys doing a job at our neighbour’s house and were impressed with their attention to detail, cleaning up, tidiness, all that sort of thing. We asked them to revamp our much-neglected gardens and could not be happier. The workmen were on time, polite and did an excellent job.

Urban growth did a large job on our garden. The work mainly consisted of clearly the undergrowth on the whole of the back part of the block, about 600m2, levelling and replacing with lovely turf. Transformation is an overused word, but it's the right term to use for the work done. Great work and thank you!

Fabio and workmate did a fantastic job in the three hours they were working. There is still plenty more to do but wouldn’t hesitate to have them back or recommend them to others. Urban Growth provides gardening and maintenance services for my 97-year-old grandfather. When they arrived, the garden was well overgrown and required a lot of attention (far more than you can imagine). Daniel and the team have been super efficient and have done such a great job. Excellent and highly recommend to anyone. I needed someone to cut & weed my front lawn as I was moving house and I found a member of Urban Growth on the street and asked them. Toby and his team only took 1 day to turn a weed-infested, unloved front yard and a multi-level jungle (back yard) into gardens anyone would be proud of. I can't believe how much they accomplished. Great experience! The team did an awesome job. My back garden is on a steep slope and isn’t really usable. After a visit from Urban Growth, I can get to the top of my garden again and they have made it look lovely! I highly recommend.
